Nobuyuki Matsuhisa

Punctuated by travels and twists and turns, the story of celebrity chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa is as fascinating as his recipes.

 

In 1987, he opened his first Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills, and quickly became an icon of the local culinary scene, attracting Hollywood stars including Robert De Niro. De Niro convinced him to open his first restaurant in New York, followed by a whole collection of restaurants in the world’s most iconic destinations.
